Spinning Westward

  1. Hey Folks! Erica has another good idea! I'll risk exposing my PC illiteracy and give it a shot so no laughing unless I say its OK. I am currently in Michigan, in the freezing rain, waiting to unload in the morning. I have a load of Peach Puree from medford to deliver to Gerber foods. Ah, just think of all the baby #@!& I am helping to create! Whew, just the idea makes me all warm-n-fuzzy. From here I load nursery stock to take to eastern Alabama...warm weather at last! Now i gotta see if (1st) this actually worked and (2nd) if I can figure out how to personalize it... "see" ya later!

  6. I am sure my Loving sister wouldn't have a single story about me...I led such a dismal boring life, might as well not ask her.

  7. Hi Judy! Good to hear from you and glad you took the time...you must not have anything else to do? (HA) Going going going isn't all it's cracked up to be for sure, for instance, I was in Michigan two days ago, snowing, 5 degrees and windy. Now I am in Alabama, raining like crazy, flooding, 60 degrees and thunder and lightning. Tommarro I head for Rhode island so am expecting all kinds of weather changes. The road is the same...too much traffic. I am passing the time with audio books, my new MP3 player and the 500 songs Jason downloaded on it, and when I park I drag out the PS3. I live a childlike life actually, you know us kids. Give us a job to do and when you turn your back were playing! When I get the phot thing figured out I'll post better pics....maybe some that don't cover the whole screen!

    Later! papa

  8. Hi Paul,

Pretty cool blog site. Same picture of you though.
Maybe I should loan you my web cam that my son bought me for Christmas.
Nice picture of a sunset or sunrise. How come you son Jason isn't on your blog?

  9. Hi Uncle Paul,
I like your blog. I have the slowest internet in the world. Dial-up. And my mouse is sticky, I'll drag it and try to click something, and the little arrow won't move!!! It is the most frustrating thing. Dad got us a new computer and a new MOUSE. Flat screen, very exciting.
I like to use my laptop at Jane's coffee shop, she has wi-fi. I have been sick, so I am stuck with this dinasour computer. (Windows 98, IBM compatible) Well, we do the best we can.
I have a digital camera, too. Perhaps I can figure out how to send you a picture.
We do love you very much and would love to see you!!! Is there any way that you can sneak up to north Seattle for a cup of coffee at the Blue Saucer. They open at 7:00am, I think. She makes the best coffee in town.
    Your little niece, Nellie

  12. Hi Uncle Paul,
All of us at our little abode in Seattle say Hi. Even our little cat, Geraldine says Mmm.
Mike is wondering if you own your truck. He thinks its cool that you get to drive it, but how hard it is to drive in the winter. Mike is a diesel mechanic.
We will pray for you and safe driving, safe winter roads and easy passing through New York City.
I am still recovering from a long cold/flu thing. I've had it for more than a week, Mike gave it to me for my birthday.
    Nellie

  13. Dear Pado...
You may not have told the family as to where the name "pado" came along-I do recall in our baby days that I couldn't say, "Paul"; (Doug says that was only 7-wks ago); so, as I recall the most evidence of your wherabouts was the never-ending trail of soiled diapers leading to the bathroom, so I dubbed you what our mother always said everytime she picked you up..."Puddles"...which evolved into typical babytalk short-hand, "Pado". You didn't know that? Well Gorsh...I thought I told you ages hence! Yes Erika - I do have stories...

    Love you Pado. Seester Gail
